Financially Independent Person Permit (Category F)
Cyprus Category F permit is for non-EU nationals who wish to reside in Cyprus without working, relying on passive income from abroad. Popular due to Cyprus's favorable climate, EU membership, and relatively simple application process. Can lead to permanent residence.
- Proof of stable passive income from abroad (minimum €30,000/year)
- Bank deposit of approximately €15,000-€20,000 in Cypriot bank
- Valid passport
- Health insurance
- Proof of accommodation in Cyprus (owned or rented)
- Clean criminal record
- Cannot engage in any employment in Cyprus
- Income must come from sources outside Cyprus
- Must maintain minimum income and bank deposit requirements

Fee: Approximately €500 application fee
