Latvia offers temporary residence permits for investors through real estate investment or company share capital. While the program has been modified over the years, it still provides a pathway to EU residency. Latvia is an EU and Schengen member, allowing free movement throughout Europe.

- Must maintain investment during permit validity
- Real estate must not be mortgaged above certain limit
- Language requirements for permanent residence
