Startup Visa (Self-Employed)
The Netherlands offers a startup visa for non-EU entrepreneurs who want to launch innovative businesses. Applicants must work with a certified facilitator (incubator or accelerator) and develop their startup in the Netherlands. The program provides access to one of Europe's most innovative ecosystems with strong tech hubs in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and Rotterdam.
- Innovative product or service new to Netherlands market
- Contract with RVO-certified facilitator (incubator/accelerator)
- Valid passport
- Business plan approved by facilitator
- Proof of sufficient funds for stay
- Health insurance
- Clean criminal record
- Not previously resided in Netherlands for startup purposes
- Must work with certified facilitator during first year
- Cannot work for other employers
- Startup must be innovative and have growth potential
- Must transition to self-employed permit after first year

Fee: €350 application fee
