American Samoa

## Tax Implications

Aruba tax residents are subject to worldwide income taxation at progressive rates. The 2025 schedule provides a tax-free threshold of Afl. 30,000, then 0% up to Afl. 34,930; 21% from Afl. 34,930 to Afl. 63,904; 42% from Afl. 63,904 to Afl. 135,527; and 52% above Afl. 135,527. AZV (national health insurance) premiums are compulsory for residents. Australia's National Innovation Visa (NIV) is a permanent residence visa for exceptionally talented individuals with an internationally recognised record of outstanding achievement. The NIV operates on an invitation-only basis through a two-stage process:

**Processing times:** Priority 1-2 applications take approximately 6-12 months; Priority 3-4 approximately 9-18 months. Overall, 50% of applications are processed in about 11 months and 90% in about 18 months.
