EntrePass (Entrepreneur Pass)
Singapore's EntrePass is designed for foreign entrepreneurs who want to start and operate a business in Singapore. Applicants must have an innovative business backed by venture capital, incubators, or with significant intellectual property. Singapore's business-friendly environment, access to Asian markets, and world-class infrastructure make it a top destination for startups.
- Innovative technology product/service with IP or R&D
- OR business backed by Singapore-government-accredited VC/Angel investors (SGD $100,000+ funding)
- OR supported by government-recognized incubator/accelerator
- Business must be registered as Private Limited company in Singapore
- Applicant owns at least 30% shareholding
- Business less than 6 months old at application (or not yet registered)
- Valid passport
- Educational/professional background relevant to business
- Cannot take employment outside own company
- Must meet progressive criteria for renewals (revenue, hiring, funding)
- Certain business types excluded (coffee shops, bars, massage parlors, etc.)
- Must maintain active role in business
Processing time: 8-12 weeks
Fee: SGD $105 application fee + SGD $225 issuance fee
Apply online through MOM portal. Requires detailed business plan and supporting documents
